Material is good and so is the wood. But I did notice the wood is so soft it slides on the carpet when you try to sit in it. It was insanely easy to put together. The ONLY problem I have with it is how hard it is to rock in. I can't easily rock at all and I actually have to use a chair to put my feet up so I can get I a comfortable position. I've actually considered turning the legs around to see if that makes it easier, but I haven't yet cause if it falls apart while I'm holding my son I'd never forgive myself. The chair does slide back a bit when you sit down if you sit down a certain way. That's the only thing I don't like about the chair. I don't use it super often yet, since my baby is not here yet. I usually hang out in it 2 times a week for 30 mins - 2 hours each, and have no complaints about the comfort or durability so far.
